About Me

Nice to meet you! I’m Jessica.

After years of discussion and months of meticulous planning, I’m currently taking a yearlong career break with my husband to live out our longtime dream of traveling around the world! We plan to travel through ~40 countries across all 7 continents!

In my typical life, I drive value by building stellar products that users love.

Most recently, I designed experiences for over 2.8 million learners at Corporate Finance Institute, the #1 rated online provider of finance education. Check out my favorite project so far: Learning Recommendations, a dynamic recommendation system to provide learners with customized guidance.

Before that, I developed new B2B/B2C features and product enhancements for EnterpriseAlumni, which powers the alumni networks of the world’s largest organizations. An impactful project I worked on was Integration Center, a sophisticated B2B tool that empowers alumni management teams to configure their own integrations.

At UC Berkeley, I received a B.A. in Cognitive Science: the interdisciplinary study of the mind. My background in cognition has given me a deep sense of empathy which allows me to excel in human-centered design.

A thespian by nature, my first taste of design came from creating playbills in middle school. From this experience, I learned that I thrive at the intersection of creativity and technology, and it paved my way to discover my passion for product design.

In my free time, I love dancing, playing tabletop games, and exploring the world with my husband.
