About Me

Nice to meet you! I’m Jessica.

As a Product Designer, I create products that are usable, desirable, and valuable. Though I have experience in a variety of sectors (from theatre to financial technology), I specialize in enterprise software.

These days, you’ll find me designing experiences for Corporate Finance Institute: we’re enhancing the skills and productivity of finance and banking professionals. Check out my favorite project so far: Learning Recommendations, a dynamic recommendation system to provide learners with customized guidance.

Previously, I worked as a UI/UX Designer for EnterpriseAlumni, which powers alumni networks of the world’s largest organizations. An impactful project I worked on was Integration Center, a sophisticated B2B tool that empowers alumni management teams to configure their own integrations.

At UC Berkeley, I received a B.A. in Cognitive Science: the interdisciplinary study of the mind. My background in cognition has given me a deep sense of empathy which allows me to excel in human-centered design.

A thespian by nature, my first taste of design came from creating playbills in middle school. From this experience, I learned that I thrive at the intersection of creativity and technology, and it paved my way to discover my passion for product design.

In my free time, I love dancing, playing tabletop games, and exploring the world with my husband.

Check out some interesting design topics I’m reading about on Medium.
